Prepreg Sales Manager

Composites Evolution Ltd develops and manufactures innovative composite materials including prepregs and natural fibre reinforcements. Our products are used to enhance performance, lower weight and reduce environmental impact in a variety of market sectors including mass transport, automotive, motorsport, sporting goods and consumer goods. We are passionate about helping our clients develop new solutions and we work with designers, converters and brand owners to help them utilise our materials in their products.

 

Having recently moved into new factory premises with a state of the art prepreg manufacturing line, we are now seeking a dedicated and proactive Prepreg Sales Manager to help drive the growth of our business. The role will include:

 

• Generating new sales leads through proactive engagement with customers and potential customers and by responding to incoming enquiries.
• Working with customers and potential customers to help them identify the right products and solutions for their applications in order to secure the sale.
• Providing high levels of customer support throughout the sales process.
• Liaising with colleagues in production, technical support and research and development in order to ensure that customer expectations are met with respect to product performance, quality and lead-times.
• Significant UK travel. The successful candidate will be expected to spend the majority of their time in front of potential customers.

 

We are looking for someone with the following essential skills, experience and characteristics:

 

• A proven track record in technical sales.
• A confident and capable communicator.
• The ability to translate customer requirements into product characteristics.
• Highly motivated to meet sales targets.

 

Desirable, but non-essential, skills and experience are as follows:

 

• A proven track record in composite material sales.
• A sound technical understanding of composite materials, including resins, reinforcements and prepregs.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the growth of a small but innovative and ambitious composite manufacturing company. Composites Evolution is based in Chesterfield within a modern office and factory environment. Chesterfield is located on the edge of the Peak District National Park, one of the most beautiful areas of the UK.
