Whether it’s toll manufacturing one of your own prepreg products, or working with our experienced Research & Development team to create something bespoke, our aim is to be a responsive and supportive partner to help you best exploit the benefits of composites.

We can offer the following services and R&D capabilities:

Services

  • Toll manufacturing of your own prepregs e.g. using fabrics, resins or additives specified or supplied by you. 
  • Development and production of bespoke/special prepregs, tailored to your process or application.
  • R&D, lab/pilot-scale prepregging, testing.

R&D capabilities

  • Resin formulation development and mixing, from lab-scale to production-scale.
  • Reinforcement fibre/fabric selection and testing.
  • Prepreg development and scale-up, including pilot-scale hot melt prepreg machine for trials and short runs.
  • Composite lamination and curing, including vacuum, ovens, heated press.
  • Thermal analysis – DSC, DMA.
  • Mechanical testing – tensile, flexural, compression, shear, sandwich panel testing (peel, 4-point bend).
